Wow, that sucker was so huge you couldn’t hardly see where it started or ended. And that hail! Awesome!

Quite the film! It looked like a very broad funnel. Last I heard there was only one death associated with it.

Not quite as awesome as it looks… This is where I live and work and it destroyed people’s lives. I work at a hardware store and the amount of people having to come in and buy things torepair their homes is amazing in a bad way. They are devastated. We all need to do anything we can to help as I am sure they would do the same if it was our homes that were destroyed.

Thanks for your comment. I think everyone here understands the devastation and feels very deeply for the people affected - I certainly do. We can be awe-struck (i.e., “awesome”) by the power of natural forces and we can find them amazing to witness without undermining what it means for the people caught in its path.

That was such a HUGE tornado! This happened at 10:26 a.m. and it looks like it happened at night. There was another tornado the day before. Let’s jsut hope there are no more tornados. Well, i guess we got lucky. I live in Sublette Kansas and we just got a LOT of hail. It hailed 3 times in 1 day! I just pray they’re all okay.
